Tea at the Ritz

My little monkeys,

Daddy and I went out on a limb today! Crossing our fingers that the four of you could behave and act civilized for just a couple of hours, we dressed you up and took you for tea at The Ritz-Carlton this afternoon. A beloved tradition from my childhood, I am so glad to finally get to share it with the four of you. Several years ago, we had to declare a hiatus on this favorite holiday festivity. We had to wait for ya'll to grow up a bit and learn to sit still for more than ten seconds! Since all four of you have now passed that hurdle, today was the day we decided to give it another try.
I am proud to report that you all did just fine! We were prepared to have to cut things short, but you held it together and we all had a really nice time. Other than Davis having pink-eye and Carter being a nervous-wreck about meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus (silly boy!), the entire experience was wonderful for each of you. Our server fell so in love with you, Jackson, that she didn't charge us for your food!

So.....
you passed the test.
The tradition continues!

Love,
Mommy
