Dear Jackson,
You finally conquered the deep end of the swimming pool - and the diving board, too! Daddy spent some good one-on-one time with you in the pool last weekend helping you get confident enough to let go of the side. The next thing I knew - you were swimming across the deep end all by yourself!
You finally conquered the deep end of the swimming pool - and the diving board, too! Daddy spent some good one-on-one time with you in the pool last weekend helping you get confident enough to let go of the side. The next thing I knew - you were swimming across the deep end all by yourself!
Then, not ten minutes later, you got even MORE brave and decided to try out the diving board. The thing you can't hear in these photos (but I hope you always remember) is the sound of your family chanting and cheering you on as you courageously tackled that diving board and then swam with all your might back over to the ladder!
We were all so proud of you because we KNEW you could do it!
All you needed to do was trust yourself.
