On November 25, we celebrated B's birthday. After we sang to her and dove in to her yummy lemon cake from the bakery in Dacula, we took her over to Home Depot to pick out the camellia bush she wanted for her front yard. Davis, you and Daddy were sweet to not only go over and plant the bush for her, but also to help rake up her entire lawn! Later, the little ones and I took her to Provino's for her special celebration dinner.
I hope you guys know how lucky you are to have your B. Not everyone has a grandmother who lives around the corner and will come running any time she's needed. Aside from Daddy and me, I think it's safe to say that your B loves you more than anyone in this world! She would do just about anything for you, and she proves that on nearly a daily basis. We are blessed that she lives so close to us and is always there to help out when Daddy and I need a hand. She is your best friend, your loudest cheerleader, and your most loyal fan! She beams with pride at each of your accomplishments and cries harder than you do when things don't go your way. She is front and center at most every school program, football game, and birthday celebration. She helps with your schoolwork, schleps you to doctors appointments and choir practice, buys you clothes and other odds and ends you need (Davis, you would have had football cleats from Goodwill if it weren't for her!), takes you out to dinner when Mommy doesn't feel like cooking, babysits you when Mommy and Daddy need a break, and steps up to the plate in a million different ways. B brags on you and shows you off to anyone who will listen, for you are truly her "treasures." She loves spending time with you and she loves spoiling you rotten. She is totally crazy about all four of you ~ and the feeling is mutual. We are blessed and fortunate to have our beloved B, and I hope she felt our love and appreciation for her on her special day!
Love,
Mommy
