Dear Tori,Well, Miss Priss, I think August 8 worked out to be a pretty great day for you! You woke up bright and early in anticipation of the big day. Usually, you're the last one up -- but not on this day! You came downstairs with the biggest smile, finding your gifts from Daddy and me waiting in the kitchen. You finally got the new "big girl" desk you have been wanting for so long! You also got a Hello Kitty alarm clock (to help you wake up on time on days when it's NOT your birthday!), lots of books and coloring stuff, some new clothes and PJ's, and a Hannah Montana beauty kit. As the birthday kid, you got to pick your favorite restaurant for breakfast. Surprisingly, you chose C
racker Barrel! The waitresses there thought it was so cute that a seven-year-old would want to come there - they are more used to birthday celebrations for 77-year-olds! You got to have some of your favorite foods - blueberry pancakes and sausage! After breakfast, we made a quick detour to Wal-mart to let you pick out a new Bible. Later that day, B came over to help us celebrate. As is birthday tradition, she brought you a "little cake" that was shaped like a pink puppy! You finished out the day by getting to go swimming at Jackson's football team's pool party.

Love,
Mommy
