Daddy's 30th year was pretty awesome. After many years of trying to do it own our own, we finally decided to "let go and let God." As a family, we drew closer to the Lord and He truly made Himself real in our lives. In a time when so many others were struggling, we were truly blessed. It hasn't been all sunshine and roses, but God has been faithful we have much to be thankful for!
Yesterday, we celebrated Daddy's 31st birthday. A delicious dinner at Cracker Barrel was topped off by a tasty, chocolate chip peanut butter pie made by yours truly. As usual, you kids made a plethora of homemade cards that melted Daddy's heart! Davis, Daddy really loved the coffee and book you bought for him with your own money.
It was a great day for a great Daddy, and I can't wait to see what God has in store for him in 2009!
