CHAMPIONS!!!!

#47 and #53,
Well, it's the end of another great football season.  You guys improved your playing skills a lot this year, both earning a spot on the "gold" line.  Both of your teams went into the championship games with 11-0 records, aiming for those blue trophies.  We expected to see two exciting matchups, and you guys did not let us down!

Jackson, your victory was a little bittersweet, wasn't it?  Playing against Kyle's team and knowing that one of you would have to loose was kind of hard.  But, you guys got to actually block/tackle each other several times during the game, which I know you had been DYING to do all season (since we parents won't let you tackle each other during your daily front yard football games here in the neighborhood)!  I was glad to see both of you show good sportsmanship and genuinely congratulate each other after the game.  It was a great game and a great season for both teams, and the most important thing is that you both had fun and did your absolute best!

Davis, your team fought an uphill battle all season to clinch their fifth-consecutive championship.  That is an amazing feat, never accomplished by any other team in Gwinnett Football League history.  I know I don't have to tell you what an honor and privilege it was for you to be a part of this incredible team.

You matured a lot this year and you made us very proud, week-in and week-out, as you gave it your all as the gold-line center.  You had a big crowd of family and friends at the championship game, cheering you on as your team pulled out another "W" against the Lions.  I hope you could feel the love.

Love,
Mommy
