"The most important fact about the subject
of education is that there is no such thing.
Education is not a subject
and it does not deal in subjects.
It is instead the transfer of a way of life."

We love homeschool because:
We have no need for alarm clocks,
but we start our lessons by 9 AM most days....
...and our school uniform often consists of bedhead and pjs.
but we start our lessons by 9 AM most days....
...and our school uniform often consists of bedhead and pjs.
The teacher lets us prop our feet up on the table ~
as long as there's a book in our hands.
We use toys as teaching tools....
....and in Home Ec we learn how to take care of babies.
We have the coolest PE class ever EVER.
Two words: FIELD TRIPS!
The lunchlady lets us help her cook.
We make edible science projects.....
...and edible history projects, too.
Our Principal is a real "hands-on" guy.......
....and our TA is pretty nifty, too.
....the laptop is our friend....
(totally engrossed in a video on the National Geographic website)
....and our class pets are way more fun than hamsters or guinea pigs.
Recess ROCKS....
won't come from a textbook,
but from HERE:
All your sons will be
taught by the LORD,
and great will be
your children's peace.
~Isaiah 54:13
THAT'S why we love homeschool.
....and our class pets are way more fun than hamsters or guinea pigs.
Recess ROCKS....
.....because HIS world is our school.
And at the end of the day, we know that all the lessons
we REALLY need to knowwon't come from a textbook,
but from HERE:
All your sons will be
taught by the LORD,
and great will be
your children's peace.
~Isaiah 54:13
THAT'S why we love homeschool.

Keep up the good work, Chandler!
This might be my most favorite blog entry to date. You are truly a Proverbs 31 wife! In an unrelated story, it was getting really "dusty" in my office.
The teacher is pretty cool herself! You are so creative, Chandler.
