Dear Davis,
Today you ran in your first 5K Race at the Dacula Memorial Day celebration. You came in with a time of 30 minutes and 24 seconds, which ain't too shabby for a 10-year-old! You beat hundreds of adults, including your very own Aunt Karinna (who was actually only a couple of minutes behind you)! Daddy beat you by about five minutes - way to go, Daddy! You had a huge cheering section at the finish line - Daddy, B, Bogie, your siblings and I were so proud of you!
You did great! I think you've been bitten by the bug. I forsee many more races in your future! The good thing is that your Daddy loves running, too, so this will be a good hobby for the two of you to share.
