Dear Jackson,
Well, second grade is over. You had another great year of fun and learning (in that specific order!) at Alcova. I think your favorite thing about this year was having your best neighborhood friend, Kyle, in your class. You two got to cut-up all day long and then continue your shenanigans into the afternoon and evenings back at home! You and Kyle have spent so much time together this year that, a few months ago, I started referring to him as my fourth son. ;0)
To close out the year, your teacher did a neat thing. You and your classmates got to vote on awards for each other. Mrs. Carani tallied the results and everyone got a certificate honoring their unique talents. Here's the one that was presented to you:
